Re: Oil level reading

Pull that turbo banjo bolt filter ASAP! If the turbo was replaced, I guarantee that filter wasn't pulled- this'll starve your turbo if clogged and cause an eventual catastrophic turbo failure with a high probability of taking the engine with it. Also check for any leaks in the vacuum tubes, might be...

Re: Dimensions of storage area behind the back seat

Hmmm... looks like the upper attachments of that go to the latch loop... wouldn't that make closing and latching the seat back in the upper position impossible? The sear rear seat locking clamps are on the top sides, not on the back. (lock between the two circles, note the plastic backing of the se...

I believe hr's talking about INSIDE the cabin and behind the rear seat. It would be a very narrow space. Dennis
Yes the cargo net I linked is for behind the rear seat, not the bed.

Re: Whining noise from front/rear

Given the mileage, it's not surprising. Also goes without saying, but definitely get it checked out FIRST before dropping that amount of money to confirm before you go off the advice of the internet since we can't actually experience exactly what you can and are going off our assumptions with our ow...

Re: Whining noise from front/rear

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase! Sounds like your bearings are going bad to me. I just had my front drivers' side go bad 2 months ago and bought mine 5 years ago with all 4 being bad. I had a hell of a time getting the previous bearing to make the noise. Originally it only made it ...

Re: 2006 Baja Fuel System Issue

Second: some here would consider this almost as sacrilege, but on another forum (for Isuzus) we found that it was much easier to cut an access hole in the floor to get to the fuel pump than dealing with dropping the fuel tank. Some used the cut out section as a cover, while others cut a larger sect...

They are the same on all model years, and are interchangeable with the 6-spoked rims on the turbos as well.

Re: Passenger side rear brakeline hole/leak: repair or replace complete lines?

Sorry Guacamole! Missed the fuel filters part - have you ever done that yourself? I haven't done then nor had them done on mine... yet. Until something major goes wrong and I have a need to take out the rear seats to change them I'm just going to leave them as is. That said, if I were in your shoes...

Re: Passenger side rear brakeline hole/leak: repair or replace complete lines?

Slow leak in rear, right brake line. Mech saw “rusted, leaking hole from below car - through little built-in access. I’ve moved rear seats to expose floor from above - mech says he will repair the damaged section. Stick with that or replace entire right side brake line? What's the price difference ...
