I purchased (but have not received yet) a Westin Safari bar (look it up on Ebay). The bars are universal except for the mounting brackets for specific applications. Westin does not make one for a Baja, but once I get it in my hands, I should be able to fab up a bracket at work....I'll keep you posted.

neva159, i am having the exact problem you described. However, can you double check the part # for the relay for me? Or perhaps take a pic of the socket it plugs into? The reason is i purchased the relay part number 82501AE03A, and it doesn't match up to the only open spot i can find at the fuse pan...

The plastic trim ring around the shifter is actually pretty easy to remove. First, unscrew the shift knob (it's attached to the shift boot, so it won't come off by itself). Grab a fistfull of the trim ring at the back, and pull up slowly . It has four clips, two front, two rear. It may take a bit of...

Bigger, more functional hood scoop on the turbo models. I'm not even sure the stock one actually allows enough air in to be effective. Maybe at highway speeds, but just cruising around town, I get the feeling that the intercooler is permanently heatsoaked. Why couldn't we get a decent one like the F...

I got through the whole installation, but now I'm stuck at installing the relay. Can someone describe (or better yet take a pic) the harness and plug that is underneath the dash for the relay? I just can't locate that sucker.....

safari / bull bar. There must be some major manufacturer willing to produce one. I would guess that if it were offered for a reasonable price, almost every one of us would buy. I know I would![/u]

I just lost mine last weekend at STPR 2006. I know there are many on here that have lost theirs as well (some twice)! I am also making a custom replacement out of aluminum. Not only will it look cool, it should protect way better than the stock piece.

Thanks!

I was taking a few pics at a local lake, when I spied the boat launch. I just couldn't resist! The muffler tip was about 4" above the water.

Here's my new addition. I've already added a few upgrades to get the power closer to where it should be from the factory!

I bought and installed an "Ebay special" CAI on my turbo. It was advertised for a WRX/Sti, but with a little tweaking of the mount for the lower tube, it went right on no problem. I've had it on for two weeks, no CEL's. Sounds great!!!

$50 shipped, can't beat it!

Just got my '05 turbo last month. Love it! I'm in the Gettysburg area. Seen a handfull of N/A Baja's around here, but no other turbo models yet...
