Re: Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT

FWIW - Looking at the dust shield in the area indicated in the NASIOC post I saw shiny area where rubbing was likely occurring. So I got my grinder and did a little surgery trimming the dust shield area that was shinny and finished it by painting it black. The grinding noise did stop but only when g...

Re: Rear end noise 2005 Baja Turbo MT

While I'm still looking for any suggestions, I found this on the NASIOC site... https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1269334&highlight=rear+end+grinding+noise A description of the exact noise and symptoms I am experiencing. Re: CV axles for turbo 5-speed?

I know this is an old post, but I'm trying to order axles for the rear of my 2005 MT Turbo Baja ... are the rear axles the same for AT and MT? All I'm finding online are rear axles that specify they are for Turbo AT Baja. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
-Izzy

Re: Pushbar and side bar options

Me personally, I would like to retain my factory bumper but have something that is very functional, Something that could protect the from end and still mount a small winch to it......Those side bars look great but once again I go for function over looks....Would have to actually be strong enough to...

New Baja Owner in Maple Glen, PA

Hi Everyone,
I picked up a 2005 Blue 5 spd Turbo. Mileage is a bit high at 225K+ and it needs some TLC, but I can tell you ... It is fun to drive and it ain't no slouch!
Hope to meet some other local scoobytruck owners.
Regards,
-Izzy
