Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

From storm chasing to mud slinging, the Baja Blast has been living up to it's name. Really enjoying the lift and grip with this thing. I also added Primitive Skidplates on the rear diff, trans, and front so it's ready for more adventuring. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1752/41916653184_d099e7ea77_z...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Earlier this year the Baja Blast got a bit of a lift. This time, the Baja as not only grown taller, but wider, meaner, and an absolute riot to drive on B-Roads. Behold! Method 502 VT Spec wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires! With 10.5 inches of ground clearance, this setup has inspir...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Nearly have it broken in. Oil Levels look good, car has been running smooth and seamless since the rebuild! Once the break-in period is over, I'll switch out the oil and be on to a few more things with it during the spring. Skid Plates, Method Wheels, and new tires are on the docket. https://farm5.s...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

All buttoned up and ready to roll! Just got it back from the shop. Runs so smooth and quiet, it really feels it's brand new! Well... that shouldn't be surprising considering how many things were either rebuilt, refinished, or entirely replaced! http://allwelldrive.blogspot.com/2018/02/baja-blast-hea...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Damn that sucks. Right when you started to get things squared away! On a side note, I think I finally found myself some 14' sti seats! For the drivers seat, is your baja seat currently powered or are the sti seats powered? Also, notice any significant loss of head room? The drivers seat in my '06 B...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Got the Baja lifted with new OEM Struts, OEM Top Hats, and 1" ADF Spacers all around. Looks great with a little extra height! https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4740/39458905134_cde7f0a60f_z.jpg The Baja did have a bit of an earlier-than-I-expected surprise for me though. Just before getting the lift I ...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

The seats will need a rail swap. The Baja's passenger seat will work, but the power seat components on the drivers side will be too much of a hassle to switch over. I think I'm just gonna find some Impreza rails (93-07 will fit) so that they're not sitting super high. The seating position is just a ...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Thanks guys! Yeah I nabbed some 2016-2017 Crosstrek wheels with winter tires mounted on em pretty cheap. They don't rub or anything even though the tire size is a little bigger than they should be (sized for a crosstrek). 2017 is gone... and so is the old carpet! YAY!! https://farm5.staticflickr.com...

Reverend's Baja Turbo

Hello ScoobyTruck! Figured this was probably the best community to join for Bajas, so consider this my introduction and build thread. I've recently purchased a 2006 Subaru Baja Turbo 4EAT with 114,xxx miles on it. While it does have a clean title, it's not the cleanest thing ever. Previous owner neg...
