Re: Starr's photo reference thread / dare I say members journal

Correct they do not lower the baja if used with your baja springs. "After adding the 1" spacers I gained a full 1.75-2" all around." I made the spacers out of HDPE plastic and a jigsaw (about $30). There are templates on this site somewhere. Also - someone buy my car! I moved on to a silverado so I ...

2006 Baja Turbo - 5mt price drop! $5800 (OREGON)

Scoobytruck ~ it's been fun! I'll be sure to come back when subaru releases their next trucklet. More pictures and details can be found in my "members journal" on this site. http://www.scoobytruck.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=2520 This rare packaged subaru has been a joy to own and a lot of fun to drive. ...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

The drivers seat in my '06 Baja is powered, but I'm not going through the nightmare to try and transfer that stuff over to the STI seat. I personally don't care for power seats anyways, so I'm fine cutting a little weight and dropping the seat height a bit. So for your second question: no loss in h...

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Damn that sucks. Right when you started to get things squared away!
On a side note, I think I finally found myself some 14' sti seats! For the drivers seat, is your baja seat currently powered or are the sti seats powered? Also, notice any significant loss of head room?
Thanks

Re: Reverend's Baja Turbo

Been waiting for the guys at the scrap yard to find me some 3rd gen leather sti or wrx seats myself. The black / grey combo works great in the baja! Have you tried swapping the baja rails onto the sti seats yet? Photobucket kinda ruined this thread but you can get the idea: https://forums.nasioc.com...

Re: Starr's photo reference thread / dare I say members journal

Got around to installing all four 00-04 outback KYB GR2 struts and 1" DIY spacers last weekend. What a pain in the ass that was! Thank god for youtube, air tools, and pb blaster. Let me once again say and now confirm that 00-04 outback struts do not lower bajas. The distance between the knuckle / hu...

Re: Starr's photo reference thread / dare I say members journal

Well went through and fixed all my broken links. On a 100% related note, fuck you photobucket. Trying out Imgur for 3rd party hosting. Not much of an update.... but Replaced the old yokohama AT-S(discontinued) tires after only 28k miles and was able to take advantage of the milage warranty to get ar...

Strut Spacer Template / Diagrams

These are the correct front and rear templates to use for 00-04 legacy/outback or 03-06 baja. They are scaled correctly so if you just go into word or powerpoint and enable the ruler and grid lines you can simply use one of the lengths. Not sure why the rear says 130,000... 130mm will do the trick j...

Re: Front Strut Options

'03-'06 part numbers are the same for the struts. It's the springs that changed the ride height. '03 was the low one all others the same height. Just to confirm: (although I guess i could look it up haha) oem subaru lists 03 struts and 04 - 06 struts with the same part number? I always figured this...
