Re: Tokico HTS + Whiteline springs - Very Rare!

Damn I totally missed out on these.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get for them? Just curious as to what the value is, in case I ever do end up looking for some.

Re: Rear Center Console Restoration

A couple years ago, there was a member on here that used to make replacement leather pieces for the cupholders. If I remember correctly, he used some leather from an old stool he had lying around his garage, so he only had a limited supply. The best part was, he would just give them away. You pay sh...

I'll pull the ball joint. Maybe I'll get really lucky and I won't need a ball joint separator!

Not likely lol.

Re: Need CV shaft help! RockAuto has wrong part numbers lis

Okay I just got my axles out and have a few updates. First, Hawk, I think I misunderstood you before. Reading it again, now I think you meant there was a snap ring holding the joint itself together. I was thinking of the snap ring on the splines on the shaft that goes into the transmission. Anyway, ...

OP where are you located? If you are near me (NC), and still need an airbox, I may be interested in trading out with you.

Re: Anything Options other than Megan?

So, if I was to look into BC, Tokico, or Whiteline products, etc, do they make stuff specifically for the Baja, or are you guys using Legacy parts (or another model), and if so, what year do you use?

I don't know whose it is (I don't frequent the message boards really) but I think it's beautiful, and the mod list sounds pretty sweet!

I'd say get it if it's in good shape. What are they asking for it?

Re: Need CV shaft help! RockAuto has wrong part numbers lis

I think I may call them back this evening and try to get my shipping refunded again. I do believe I paid with PayPal, so maybe I can get it refunded thru them. I'm sorry, I didn't get any pics, and I've already sent them back. I used the SureTrack brand, (its a new unit, not remanufactured) which I ...

Need CV shaft help! RockAuto has wrong part numbers listed?

I own an '06 Baja Turbo, Manual Transmission. I ordered a pair of Front CV axle shafts from rockauto.com recently, and received the style with the FEMALE inner joint. Once I actually got around to pulling my axles, I quickly realized that mine have MALE inners. I was already aware that there are two...

Re: Help finding one?

I just bought a 91 Legacy and it has the same sloppy shifter feel that you guys described. Thanks for this info, I'm gonna check out the bushings and see if that's the issue.

Re: Weird transmission issue after driving in snow.

I agree with your "snow packed in the linkage" theory. Especially since all the gears it WOULDN'T go into were in the same direction, referring to the linkage. What I mean is, it sounds like you're implying it went into 1,3,5th gears with no issue, but not 2,4, or Reverse. in 1/3/5, you push the shi...

Re: Highest miles on a Baja (so far!)?

Seems to me that they would have replaced the Timing belt when they did the head gaskets, water pump, etc... the belt has to come off for that stuff, so why not replace it? But if it's not listed then I would just go ahead and plan on replacing it just to be on the safe side. Anyway, nice looking ri...
