Re: Fog Lights on whenever I want?

Maybe someone has an answer. I searched to no avail. Two different models and years. First one, I have an 06 Baja and originally had the roof lights triggered by my parking lights. I found it to be a pain having to click my high beams off and a toggle for the roof lights. I then rewired to trigger w...

Re: Subaru's sensitive to coolant?

My wife has a 2000 Outback. At about 105,000 I noticed a small puddle forming under the driver's side head, sure enough it had a very small leak at the head and block. I added the tiny bottle of Subaru coolant conditioner and within 1,000 or so miles the leak stopped. The Outback now has 151,00 and ...

Re: Offroad light install on roof basket with pics - write up.

Lights look great, nice write up. I do have a suggestion on the wires on you roof rail. I ran lights for my front cross-bar and ended up coming through the roof under the rail. Anyway, I used wire split loom (any Radio shack or electronics store). I attached them to the plastic portion of the rail u...

Re: light cross bar for sale

Thanks, here are some pics of the new one i built to replace the old one. They both put off some good light for some of the paths I drive down. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l221/medtec/IMG_4328.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l221/medtec/IMG_4327.jpg http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l221...

light cross bar for sale

I built a new light bar and would like to sell the last one I made for $100+shipping. I have included the plug, all you need is to run wiring and I would be happy to show you how I ran mine.

I run my fogs of my parking lights. First you have to disable your DLRs then what I did was power a relay off the wiring at the fuse block under the hood. The fog light indicator will illuminate when their on. http://www.photovations.com/ims/pic.php?u=3718QPsOz&i=34865 Sorry, government computers, e...

On the positive side, they left a note...Not everybody does.

I've read that a full size tire and rim will fit in the stock position under the bed without mods to the exaust, but it will hang down about 4 inches, that is with the stock size of 225/60/16...I've thought about it too, if you do try it keep us informed...lol

Newscutter,
I have researched Tirerack and found Dunlop SP60 not only fits and has good traction (going by thier reviews) but also is several pounds lighter.

Hope this helps, lol...medtec

deformeddavo,
It sounds like all you need is a refill. Wal-mart sells kits for less than $20. Make sure you get the kit that has an in-line gauge. I've had more than one vehicle that this worked for after showing the same symptoms as you descibed. lol.

Four headlight systems just unplug the DRL, two headlight systems require the wire being cut and the module being reconnected, however there is enough wire to put on a male/female connector so you can easily reverse what you have done. I chose this an normaly run my fogs on darker/rainy days... http...

Thanks, I figured they were the same internally. I have the switch in place but not pushed into the faceplate (it's a dash I don't want to pull apart if I don't have to). Any thoughts to why the conector would have a ground fired lead to the horn. The only thing I can think of is it's the uprade for...

There are some good sudgestions here, after cleaning the area with some sort of prep-sol then build up the scatch with several coats I have gone one step further. Using 1200 grit wet/dry sand paper lightly wet sand in the direction of the scratch ( do not focus presure with your fingertips) then use...
