Re: Wanted: Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror

My 2003 *is*... weird. On mine, there's an empty socket under the interior light panel that the autodim mirror plugs into.

Re: Subaru letters

Next time I'm at the junkyard, I'll look for ya. Actually, I'll probably be down there tomorrow if this weather holds up... :)

Re: Running Hot ... Coolant Low .... Oil in coolant

Are there any shops you would recommend in the area? I moved here a few years ago, I do most of my own work, but occasionally would like to pay someone else to do it. I also moved to NEPA fairly recently. As such, I had the HGs done in West Virginia. The radiator comment was made by a mechanic in P...

Re: Running Hot ... Coolant Low .... Oil in coolant

Most likely a Head Gasket. This could allow coolant and oil to mix. Almost all Subarus between the late 90s and early 2000s have or will need them replaced. It's a well known problem among the subie crowd. You can do a search on this site or Google it. There are many, many articles on many differen...

Re: Ride Height Difference Between 2003 and 2004-06

I am also interested in the 2004-06 lift for my 2003. I've found the most information here: http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/81-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension/22317-baja-springs-2000-outback-wagon.html Great, great thread - lots of info. In summary: the Baja spring parts # change a couple times b...

Craigslist finds

Thought I'd start a "stuff I found on CL" thread, like I've seen on some other forums.

Re: Gorilla Offroad Company

Your products look great! I have a (possibly dumb) question about the CAI. (I was going to send a PM, but seems like it'd be better to have the information out here...) It's my understanding that CAIs usually require an intake pipe routed to the fender or somewhere outside the engine bay. How does t...

Re: Items For Sale, Traded my 06 Baja Sport

Where did you store the full size spare? I thought that the storage spot for the spare wasn't big enough for a full size tire. You *can* fit a full-size spare under there... at least I was able to on my '03 non-turbo. It requires a little outward bending of the "prongs" that hang down. The tire sit...

I have one on my Baja that I could be persuaded to sell, potentially. I'm in northeast PA.
