Re: What did you do to your Baja today?

New plugs today. They weren't bad at all to install. Just move an air box, remove battery loosen wiper fluid tank and you can get to all plugs. First time I've done it.

Support The Forum - Redbubble Merch

Hey all - I had a hankerin' for a Subaru Baja shirt and then thought I could make something for others as well - so I created a product on Redbubble. I started with just the basic 2003 Baja in yellow. You can get a shirt or sticker. http://scoobytruck.com/ul/158258039621869.jpg Link to T-Shirt Think...

Dog DeMuro reviews the Baja

Overall a good video. One thing that seemed "off" was the bit about the bed extender. My bed extender can be removed and installed in seconds -- but maybe it is aftermarket.

Re: Model Baja Coming Soon?

Excellent find! I thought there would never be a day when a model Baja would be produced...

I dug deeper on their site and look at this:

Subaru Baja Gauge Pod, 5 Speed, 83k Miles

I bought this to use in my Baja - and used it for a month or two - until I repaired my original pod. This unit has 83700k miles on the odometer. A few of the bulbs are out, and the front clear plastic could use a good clean / buff. I will include more USED bulbs but can not guarantee they all work. ...

What did you do to your Baja today?

I'll start - I replaced the dash cluster. Long story here, I managed to crack the trip/odometer LCD when replacing a bulb a few months ago. The bulb broke in the hole and my method of fishing out the glass with a screwdriver was destructive. (hint: if it happens to you, vacuum out the glass, don't t...

One-Touch Up/Down Window Switches for Drive and Passenger

Stolen from Facebook post. I hate Facebook posts because they are pretty much lost once they are off your timeline. Much better to post in a searchable forum like this! ;) Douglas Escobar: Five minute $25 modification. 98-04 Nissan Sentra/Altima/ Frontier switch cluster has one click auto up AND dow...

Bed Retainers / Bumper Retainers / replacement part found

Someone posted on Facebook about these Acura Bumper Retainers that will work for the Baja around the bed.... they are on amazon (but expensive shipping): https://www.amazon.com/Au-Ve-Co-17267-Acura-Push-Type-Retainer/dp/B001Q5HL82/ ...but I also found them on eBay MUCH cheaper: http://www.ebay.com/i...

Headlight Restoration Kits

Has anybody used this 3M kit or similar to restore foggy headlights?

I'm wondering if I should bother or just buy new units.

Re: Looking to buy, few questions.

Near as I can tell, my 2005 is wired for a heated drivers seat. The wiring is there (no switch, though). I bought it new in 2004 and I'm in the USA.

Must have been for some homemade bed cover? Or even bed extender?

Here is one:

I've also seen folks take the bench from a 2004 OBW and use it in the Baja.

Re: Double DIN head unit w/backup camera

Here is a picture of the route I took to wire my backup camera through the bed area. http://scoobytruck.com/ul/1428946542785.jpg Install of the backup camera required removal of the inside plastic on the lift-gate. Then, there is a metal cover that can be removed with a philips screwdriver. Once tha...
